Following all the disruption caused by Covid-19, it was lovely to get back onto the show scene in 2022 and ‘WOW’, what a year it has been!
As our alpaca community and industry continues to thrive and grow, we decided that 2022 was the perfect year to launch the Northern Ireland Alpaca Group’s first ever Halter championships. This took place on 6th November 2022, in Ecclesville Equestrian Centre, Fintona and was judged by BAS Judge; Mary Jo Smith.
There was a great representation from alpacas from all over the province and having entered 12 of our own animals, we couldn’t have been happier with our results;

Thank you to Judge Mary-Jo Smith, to our ace team of handlers and helpers and to all of those who made the day such a success.
